Getting a new blog off the ground.
October 25th, 2007 by NathanGetting a new blog started takes some time and forethought. You need to know all of the technical information like hosting and software to use. You will also need some ideas about how your want your blog to look. You don’t need to be a graphic designer or know webdesign in order to produce a sharp looking blog. Most types of blog software have some built in templates that are an excellent start. Then you need to have a solid idea you want to write about. After all, a blog is only as good as its content. If you don’t really have anything to say then there isn’t much point in starting a blog. Everyone has opinions so you should start by looking for something you are interested in and have some knowledge about. You should always try to keep your blog postings under say 500 words unless you just can’t help it. This takes the press off of writing large expansive texts that can begin to ramble.
